The AFCARS Toolkit as is prepared by the National Resource Center for Child Welfare Data and Technology (NRC-CWDT), a service of the Children's Bureau. It was developed to support States' efforts to collect and report quality data by compiling available Federal guidance and technical assistance materials for staff that collect and utilize the data. It is meant to be a comprehensive collection of AFCARS materials for use by program and technical staff, and we hope that it will be incorporated into State AFCARS reporting processes.

The Children’s Bureau and the NRC-CWDT welcome comments and suggestions from those using this toolkit. Comments may be sent to:
